CARL DEUKER
Carl Deuker is an American author. He was born August 26, 1950 in San Francisco (California) and writes novels for teenagers and adults about sports. He was an English major at University of California, Berkeley, during which he took part in the years of protest against the Vietnam war. As an adult, Carl worked as a teacher and had a little job as journalist.
Some of his best novels are "On the devil's court" (1988), "Painting the black" (1997), "Night Hoops" (2000), "High heat" (2003), "Gym Candy" (2007). Carl Deuker won 5 times the "Young Adult Book of the Year". Read an INTERVIEW with Carl Deuker. |
